Self Criticism still lingering?

We approached our defense mechanisms and our offense mechanisms in the last two posts.  Toggle the shield and the sword seems to be a fitting title for these Toggles. The goal is to produce an emotional environment of mastery as we enter the warm summer of the Fire Element.  These shifts from sword and shield to a calm patience will allow profound clarity to replace most conflict we encounter.  As a result of these two Toggles the emotional system will often reveal hidden self criticism stored deeper.  Our strength is now going to get even deeper.  Close your eyes and allow your criticisms to emerge. Every single one of them.  Focus on the feeling of each one and then gratefully pull it in.  Each self attack will restore valuable energy to the positive field of emotions and will enhance the Fire Element within.

Flip side of being defensive is being critical

Today is another great opportunity to balance the Wood Element and relieve itchy eyes.  We already focused our attention on being defensive last week and pulling in our reactions to attack and criticism.  The other side of the coin is our criticism of others.  The connection criticism has to our allergic eyes is this; when we are around those who we are critical of, but we don't want to say anything mean or nasty, then we suppress our criticism.  The suppression causes agitation in the Wood element affecting the eyes.

To perform a Toggle that would relieve the itchy condition, think about the people who really bother you in some way. Imagine voicing the criticism you have about them.  As you do this emotional energy will be released.  It feels like a rush.  Focus on this energy and pull it in. Then notice how good your eyes feel.  The itching will be gone.  If it returns, pay close attention to who you are around or who you are thinking about.  It is very likely that you are holding criticism about the person in your mind.  Repeat this Toggle and the itchy eyes will be relieved.

Spring has Sprung

Good day to you.    The publisher expects the book to be available on Kindle next week.  Our first webinar was conducted yesterday.  I was very pleased with the feedback.  Please go to the website, www.toggleit.com. to find out more about online classes being taught.

That last Toggle discussed made some great changes. Tree allergy season is upon us.  The last Toggle on defensiveness helps relieve the itchy reactions in the Wood Element.  For allergies, we also need to address Earth, which is worry and Metal which is grief, sorrow and other emotions of loss.  The "worry" Toggles help reduce the mucous production while the "grief" and "sorrow" emotional Toggles improve the sinuses.  Focus on things you are worrying about as well as the grief of losses in the past.  It is helpful to put pressure on the corresponding pulse points as you do these Toggles.  When you are finish, return to the Water Element question of "What do I want?" and answer it, if only to set the goal for the day.  This will help relieve allergy symptoms and give you the emotional fuel you need for a great week.

Defensiveness

Today we again focus on the Wood Element.  The defensive emotions of anger, frustration, bitterness, and resentment are all associated with the Wood Element.  Last week we focused on impatience and this week I will highlight defensiveness.  This emotion usually runs on automatic pilot.  Chronic defensiveness in the mind stirs a hyper defensiveness in the body as well in the form of itchiness and inflammation.

Since being defensive is often a chronic emotional condition, we have to get creative in order to isolate the feeling for a good Toggle session. To do so, write down a list of people you believe to be critical of you.  One by one, look at each name are recall or imagine their criticism of you.  With each one focus on the feeling it stirs up in you and pull it in.  As you move to the next person, repeat the process.  As you pull in the defensiveness you feel, it is helpful to envision strength and beauty coming to you out of each Toggle.

If you are chronically defensive you may also find yourself often imagining being criticized by strangers as well.  Every time you notice yourself feeling attacked, whether it is real or imagined, stop and pull in the feeling. This can take the better part of a week to complete, after which you will experience calm level of clarity, which is a gift from the Wood Element.  All of your relationships will improve along with your skin and itchy conditions.

Impatience in the Spring

Spring time is the time of the Wood Element.  Hypersensitivities to pollens and dust aggravate allergies and sinuses.  Impatience is a key emotion related to the Wood Element.  Many of us who Toggle everyday are feeling it.  Practice moving slowly through your routines this week.  The strain that comes up as you deliberately move slowly is the emotional energy you want to pull in. You will likely pull in this strained feeling for a few days. Clarity and grace will begin to replace the impatience.  Mentally, a serene gentleness will allow for more efficiency as you conclude Toggling the "hurry it up" feeling brought on by the spring weather.  Not only will your mind relax but also your allergic reactions will improve as well.  Use the Wave Toggle since this application will likely take a few days to complete.  If you are monitoring your pulses, check in with the Liver/Gallbladder pulse point to feel the changes there.  A free webinar introducing the Toggle Technique will be conducted on March 15th at 4:00pm Mountain Time.  Please contact us through the website for more information.  www.toggleit.com
