Toggle It

The last blog highlighted our journey of self acceptance.  This is not an easy road.  Loving oneself, in context of the Toggle approach, is a process of eliminating the self-hatred and self-condemnation feelings that pervade our more subconscious layers, and then consciously deciding to appreciate this amazing body we are entrusted with.  Bringing the negative feelings to the forefront is first our mission.

The body obviously responds to our negative emotions or else we would have never had the amazing successes using this technique to improve health and eliminate pain that we do.  Knowing this connection to be true we will use Toggling to address the emotions we feel toward the body.  Look in the mirror and slowly scan your body, noticing how you feel about it.  Toggle each feeling as it comes up.

Seasonally we are entering the Wood element time of year where anger, discouragement, and judgments are stored.  By focusing on Toggling your physical self judgments you can add strength, flexibility and control to your energy system and to your physical body.  As you do this Toggle, watch for 'cringing hatred', fear, and shame as you scan your body, and pull in those feelings, one by one.  When you are done, look in the mirror again and notice how much more relaxed and appreciative you feel about being in your skin.  Now, go have a good day and love the skin you're in!
