Jan. 1, 2011 Today marks the 150 day drum roll to the coming out of the Toggle It book. The Book will be available in the major online bookstores in May of 2011. For those of you who already know this work, this blog is for you. You know the technique and from here I will give you creative uses for it to make this a wonderful year of evolution. For those of you, who are new to Toggling, please be patient. The book will be worth the wait. In the mean time, go to the website at http://www.toggleit.com/ComplimentaryDownloads.html and download the free audio instruction kit, and begin practicing. The more you use it the more this blog will make perfect sense to you. For those of you who want even more mastery, go to the classes page on the website and watch for the online workshops being made available early this year.
The New Year is starting and fresh perspectives are readily contemplated. Winter is the time of Water where we rest and contemplate what we want. What is our purpose, our intention and our passion? Water element also houses the negative emotions of Fear, distrust, overwhelm, carelessness, and unworthiness. We make new resolutions each year. Some stick and some do not. On this blog we will approach this year from the Toggle perspective to establish more understanding of and success in our endeavors.
Begin by making a list of changes you want to see. As you make the list you will notice tension build up of fear of failure. These fears can stop you in your tracks at which point you will want to put down the pen and turn on the TV for distraction, or the fear may be a quiet type of tension or subtle discomfort you will likely want to ignore. Today we will not ignore the shadow stresses. In the Toggle approach we make a list of changes, not for the sake of changing but instead for the focus on our reaction to the changes we desire. Here we will instead tackle those reactions.
Once you have made your list of changes, imagine failing at your resolutions. Notice the part of your mind that argues with your desires to improve. Feel the self loathing, the disappointment, the dread. Let this feeling be your focus and then, using the Audio Toggle recording, pull the feeling in using the wave application. As these stressors release, one at a time, you will find your mind getting quiet and peaceful. If any additional emotional struggles emerge follow the Toggle process and pull each one in until your mind is quiet. You have now entered into your positive Water Element. Now revisit the goals you set out. You will feel a deeper confidence in your intentions. From this space your changes are much more likely to stick.
Another area of stress is the issues that come up in personal relationships during the holidays. Often tension rise along with expectations, leading to resentments and disappointments that linger into the New Year. Use the audio instructions and focus on each of your relationships and Toggle the tension that resides there. Many of these Toggles will activate a positive influence in your Metal Element allowing you to better evaluate what is good for you and what is best to let go of. You will also find a more playful mood replace the bitterness. This playfulness activates better immune function and is very beneficial for those of you who are recovering from the seasonal viruses.
It was amazing how the tension arose like clockwork as I got to writing out the tougher resolutions on my list. I pulled the tension in (along with several associated strong emotions) over several minutes using the "wave toggle". Afterwards I felt very light, clear, and inspired- even with noticably more energy to put towards my goals!
ReplyDeleteI might not have been able to pinpoint this hindrance to accomplishing my goals however, prior to reading this post and being invited to do so, as it can be quite subtle and insidious if you are not looking for it. Thank you for the wonderful insight Laurie!
Best, Crystal V.
